Design of Nuclear Medicine Facility Completed, Building Now Open

Architecture for Radiology is pleased to announce the completion of a new radiology design commission to design a state of the art nuclear medicine facility, including a PetCT diagnostic treatment suite, in New York.

The design of this nuclear medicine facility incorporated best radiology design practices, including patient flow, patient privacy, patient comfort, and patient safety. The nuclear medicine department will be designed as well to maximize staff efficiency. The environment was designed to accommodate the PetCt imaging equipment, as well as the nuclear lab, special prep holding rooms, and other required support spaces.

A women's center design for a hospital in New Jersey was recently completed by Architecture for Radiology, LLP (www.arch4rad.com).

The project included multiple women's center modalities including the design and construction of rooms for ultrasound, bone densitometry, digital mammography and stereotactic biopsy. In addition, the women's center will have typical support space such as dressing rooms, offices, reception and waiting.

The project was designed to complement the professional and caring approach of the radiologists behind this new, state-of-the-art women's center.
